About the Inspire Studio & Gallery as taken from the website:
Artist Maureen Newton opened Inspire Studio & Gallery in 2008. It is her working studio and also where she teaches drawing and painting classes to students of ages. Maureen has a BFA in painting and printmaking and has been an art educator for over 25 years. In 2011, Maureen moved her studio next door into the historic Hargrave-Sissons Block and expanded to include Inspire Café, creating a completely unique cultural experience.

Located in the historic Hargrave-Sissons Block, Inspire is a “café within a gallery” which showcases the original artwork of a variety of local artists. Owned and operated by Louise Vernal and her sister Maureen Newton (her working studio is next to the cafe), Inspire is a breath of fresh air in Downtown Medicine Hat. Inspire Café boasts “inspired comfort food”; sandwiches, delicious homemade soups, freshly roasted coffee, specialty teas and in-house made desserts. There are daily features, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus available. Licensed for beer and wine.
